California Concepts

After years of experience KKI Design-build has developed a simple philosophy, provide more home for the money. The way we do this is with-in each home. We at KKI Design-Build have a specialty, we are master carpenters. Since 1974 Our sister company (Pro Woodworking) has installed custom woodwork in over 6000 new homes in our community. We have combined the two companies with an added touch in woodwork, it's called MDF Moldings (Medium Density Fiber). It looks and feels like wood and when it finished with our special epoxy like paint its more durable than wood. The moldings are larger and thicker than regular wood and have an advantage over wood with many styles and great looking characteristics. In each California Concepts you will notice larger door trim, taller baseboards, moldings with great detailed carvings, crown molded ceilings, detailed fireplace fronts, accent colors, and much more. The great thing is, that it is a KKI Design-build standard in every home. KKI Design-build believes in a great value to our customers. We believe in a healthier safer home, so that's why we treat every California Concept home with  No-Burn® Wood Gard Mih and No-Burn® Plus Mih. With this product, a home will not burn or grow mold and its guaranteed.   We are proud to offer this product in every California Concept home we build as a standard option.
